Masaya is amazing :)

This place is amazing! I have only been here almost two weeks and I have grown so much spiritually. This week helped me realize why we do this two-year-non-vacation. We found this sister that has been inactive for ten years, and seriously I have never felt the spirit as strong as when she said the prayer when we were heading out. It was like this feeling of love that has no description.  Then yesterday I felt it again. It was with this sister that's an investigator. She's just a teenager but  I've seen her change so much. The first time I met her, she didn't pay any attention and wouldn't do anything. Then last week I got her to read the Book of Mormon and she said that she felt something different when she read it. Last night we were with her and I could feel the spirit just a bit and my comp was talking to her about how she thought she'd receive her answer. Then I just felt the spirit basically hit me. I asked her how she feels when we come to her house and teach her. She thought for a minute and said that it's a feeling that is different from anything before. I testified that I felt it too and that it is the spirit answering her prayer. It was amazing. I love Masaya! ( the area I'm in)

An amazing family

New companion & area! =)

My week was super sickkk!!! And guess what?? After 6 months of the same comp I dont have him as a comp anymore. And I'm not even close to the area I was in! This just what I needed. A complete fresh start on everything. The Lord knows us and exactly what we need to have success in His work. They took both me and Elder Rojas out of the area Lezcano and they put two other elders there. He is still in the city of Managua in a place called Univeritaria, and I am in a completely different world! It is in no means a city. Every...(with emphasis on every), street is of dirt. All the houses are made of tin and nothing else. Some places don't have electricity. It is amazing. my zone is called Masaya! It is seriously the promised land of the mission. Last month they baptized 36 people and the leaders here are great! I just have such a desire to work hard and I love doing it. I've only been here for like 4 days but they've all been super ill! My comp is Elder Tax. He's from Guatemala and he is great. He wants to work hard. He is suuupppperrrr short. Ha, I went from giant to dwarf haha! But yeah, he's super humble and just has a desire to do what's right. I love it.
That's sweet you guys keep getting to see Spenser and Michaela and the wee tot. Makes me wanna see them haha.

Oye Compadres!

You kinda made me almost close to jealous cuz you're all together writing this and I am here in the oven of Nicaragua... haha just kidding guys. It really just made me feel really good hearing from all of you scoundrels haha. You guys are so awesome. And those pics are so dope man. Like I wanna try out that April Fool's stuff. It looks better than the food here and I will guarantee that it tastes better too haha! Nah just kidding the food is alright.

Conference was great. I just really got the message that I needed to get myself married the instant I get back or I am a sinner. Like Richard G. Scott layed the machete to all of us ha. It was kinda funny. Oh yeah on Saturday we had to watch it on the channel in Portuguese, the audio from the sacrament room in Spanish and the subtitles in English. What a weird world I am livin in haha. This place is so ghetto. The Sunday sessions we actually got to watch on a computer that was like 5 minutes behind cuz the internet wasn't too great, but the chair was actually pretty nice.

About my comp - I'm sure he's as sick of me as I am of him haha. Like it has been six months that we've put up with each other. But we find out if we have changes today. So who knows we might be together longer and we might not ha. He just completed a year in the mish so he's half way done.

It is so crazy to think that in only one more month I'll get to talk to you guys again. Like it was no lie when they said you hit six months the time goes super fast. It's nuts ya'll. But really I am super excited to talk to you. I have some funny stories to tell haha. And now my EspaƱol is better so I for sure have to talk to Spensizzle this time ha.

Well dudes and dudettes your email was super sweet. I love you guys.
